What we've been up to

Okay...Mom's been crazy busy lately so a blog post is long overdue...wish I could add more than just a random smattering of pictures, but that's all I've got in me tonight!

In the last few months, Lev turned 1. He says Mommy, Daddy, Uh-Oh, Hello & O-ah (noa). We took a super-fun trip to La Jolla to visit Grandma and Papa. Daddy took Noa skiing with her friend Maddy. And we've had lots of close friends visit us, like Jack & Kavi.

It's been a busy winter, but we can't wait until spring...it's right around the corner!

Sun & Snow

The Benerofe Family is having a crazy fun holiday season this year. We spent almost 3 weeks soaking up the sun in Sanibel Island, Florida where Noa perfected her swimming. She can now swim in the deep end by herself!!!

We came back to New York to two back-to-back snow storms. It's our first winter in the new house, and its so beautiful to see the neighborhood covered with snow. Noa and Mommy made a snow-woman in our back yard and then Daddy took her snow-surfing down the hill on our front lawn on a sled. We're enjoying the winter wonderland!

Noa, The Catalog Model

How cool is this?? Sure, we know a guy who knows a guy who works at Vineyard Vines...but STILL!

Noa made her modeling debut in Vineyard Vines' Holiday catalog this year. It'll surprise no one to hear she had a blast at the photo shoot. She was loving the hair and makeup chair, the personal stylist and the requested Little Mermaid soundtrack playing in the background.

What a diva.

Minnie Mouse and a Red Hot Chili Pepper

Could there be a better holiday for a little girl who LOVES to play dress up?? Noa was Minnie Mouse this year, and she certainly played the part. She made Mommy and Daddy pose for pictures with her all afternoon, just like the characters at Disneyland do, something she picked up from our California trip this summer. Noa is already talking about what she's going to be for Hanukkah...apparently we're going to dress up for EVERY holiday! She's also requested that she gets to be Belle next year, from Beauty and the Beast. There was even a suggestion that Mommy dress up as "The Beast", a request that she is trying not to take personally! :)

Little Levin was a red pepper, and he was a sport in that goofy green hat. Daddy couldn't help himself and stuck a little mustache on the kid which had us doubled over in laughter. It had no connection to his costume, but it was hilarious anyway!

Fall is Here!

Where did Summer go? Fall is here and we kicked it off by apple picking with some of our favorite friends. The return of Fall also means back to school. This year Noa is going to a NEW school because we are moving into a NEW house in Armonk! More on that once we move in November.

We just got back from an amazing vacation to Newport Beach, California with the whole Lewis family. Noa was a prune from swimming so much! Here are 2 videos of here below, swimming to Mommy and jumping in by herself.

Big Changes

Our heads are spinning over here from all the changes going on in our house lately. Practically overnight, Levin decided to start crawling, sit up on his own & pull himself up to standing, in that order! He must take after his daddy, who walked at 8 months old. Yikes! We have completely missed out on that wonderful "potted plant" phase, where we can sit him down in one place, turn our heads for a minute and expect him to be there when we look again. He's on the move, has no fear and has the bruises to prove it!
