Dad and Noa Kick It

Noa and Dad do some major bonding when he gets home from work. They've instituted a hard-core workout regiment involving neck strengthening and tummy time, but have yet to work on the gag reflex. Conveniently, Mom seems to be on the losing end of that deal, as the favorite target of one projectile spit-up too many!

Noa meets Aunt Liz and Uncle Mark

Noa had a great weekend with her Aunt Liz and Uncle Mark who came to visit from Chicago. Already taking after her mom, Noa planned a weekend filled with shopping on Greenwich Avenue, a picnic lunch in the park, and plenty of cuddling on the couch. Copy and paste the link below to see more pics!

Shout Out to Cousin Meredith

Yesterday Grandma Susie sent us this adorable picture of Noa's 19-month-old cousin Meredith with Papa Ken in Chicago. Noa & Meredith have yet to meet in person, but have already bonded thru the wonders of the webcam. Meredith runs by the camera calling Noa, "Oh-Ah!" while Noa sleeps soundly in her mom's arms through it all. We can't wait for her older, more experienced cousin to show Noa the ways of the world one day!

In the fuzzy daze of a 3am diaper change early Sunday morning, we noticed Noa's cord went AWOL and left a beautiful "inny" belly button in its place!

Yesterday, Dad and Noa took off for a little excursion along the streets of White Plains. It was a beautiful summer afternoon and a perfect day for a walk. Conversation was minimal, and aside from the occassional hootin' and hollerin' at cars passing by, Noa slept the whole time. Regardless, it was some good quality time spent with Dad!

We did a double take looking at these baby pictures of Jenni compared to shots of Noa taken 30 years later. Noa has a lot of her daddy in her too, though. She has Jory's hairline, ears and beautiful long fingers. Perfect for rocking out on her guitar!

How I Spent My One-Week-Old Birthday

Hmm...Noa really has a rough life...

She sleeps through ALL the excitement: her first trip to the park, shopping at whole foods, even webcams with cousin meredith...Conveniently, the only time she's NOT sleeping is when her parents do!
